profile: LYNN LOMBARDI

Lynn Lombardi is the driving force behind our firm’s reputation as well as its principal. Never one to stray from a challenge, in 1982 she left an unfulfilling role in the investment/financial world to pursue her passion to create. With encouragement from her family, especially her father who recognized her innate talent, she united her business acumen and conceptual prowess into a thriving design practice.

Lynn places a high value on education. She holds a BS in Business Administration from the State University of New York, New Paltz, and attended the New York School of Interior Design and has completed graduate courses at Marrist College. She regularly attends most major design markets and augments her professional expertise through professional classes and extensive research. She is also a member of the Interior Design Society.

Originally from New York, Lynn, her husband and two children have made Naples their home since 1989. She has held several positions in high-end design and building firms that provided her invaluable insights into the profession and the Southwest Florida market. But true to her calling to freely create, she inaugurated LDL Interiors in 1995. Without reserve, she affirms that this decision has allowed her to blossom both professionally and personally.




profile: JANOS POCSY

Janos Pocsy augments LDL Interiors with a mastery of European ethos and spatial relationships. A highly skilled designer with extensive experience in interior, architectural and furniture design, his focus is high-end residential and commercial projects.

Janos received a BA in Interior Design in his native Hungary, and operated his own self-named design firm for nine years, specializing in residential and commercial design. With a love of form and function, Janos also lent his skill to exposition and furniture design, receiving award recognition for the latter.

Upon immigrating to the US in 1990, he expanded his knowledge base by completing advanced certification in CAD, which he used for coordination of commercial projects between engineers, architects and designers. After relocating to Naples in 1999, Janos gained an intimate knowledge of the Neapolitan market by working in several well-known design firms, and further refined his skill set with additional training in landscape and lighting architecture.

Likening design to music, he seeks to create environments in which form, function and aesthetic evoke spacious living.
